For editing your pages, we recommend the NVU WYSIWYG editor. It is open-source software and a free download.
For uploading and maintaining your files on the server, we recommend the FileZilla FTP client. It is also open-source, and a free download as well.
To resize images and digital pictures, we recommend IrfanView. It is freeware.
Our favorite web browser is Mozilla Firefox, if you didn't notice already. It's much more modern than Internet Explorer, renders pages fast, and is safe and secure. We like the many Extensions and Themes available for it, and the Mozilla team's focus on making it compliant with web standards and having a quick response to security vulnerabilities. We think it is funny that Mozilla is so innovative with their browser, and IE7 can only imitate. We wish it were a better imitatation though. Maybe someday they will catch up, and then we can use it on our Mac and Linux computers too.
